Diffuser ritual (start here)

An ultrasonic diffuser is the easiest way to bring rose into a room. Fill the reservoir with cool water to the marked line. Add 1–3 drops of organic rose essential oil. Secure the lid, choose a short or intermittent setting if you have one, and run the mist for about 15–30 minutes.

Bath ritual (do this safely)

Essential oils do not mix with water on their own. If you pour neat rose oil into the tub, it floats on the surface and can sit on skin in a concentrated film. Instead:

2. In a small dish, mix 2–4 drops of rose essential oil into 1 tablespoon of a carrier oil such as jojoba, or into a small splash of unscented liquid soap or a bath-safe dispersant meant for essential oils.

External use only. Do not ingest rose essential oil. Keep bottles away from eyes and mucous membranes. If you later try a diluted body oil, patch test first and stop if irritation appears.
